Celebrating 10 years in business, Windermere software developers Iosys Web Technologies Ltd, instead of cakes & chocolate, chose to share their success with a £1,250 donation to Coniston Mountain Rescue.

Mountain Rescue across the UK is a voluntary organisation which relies solely on the support and generosity of the public; whether that be as an active member out on the fells; as a supporter with fund raising and/or admin activities or a friend providing donations. Whether it is time or money given, without this the team simply could not function or be there when they are needed most.

Craig Johnson, Managing Director of Iosys said, “We’re thrilled to have supported Coniston Mountain Rescue and to now be considered a ‘Friend’ of the service. Living and working in the Lakes, like many, we’re frequently out walking on the fells or mountain biking around the trails. There’s a peace of mind knowing that Coniston and all other mountain rescues teams in the region are available should they ever be needed – but always hoping that they’re not. As a volunteer service, they deserve as much financial support as is available and we’re truly proud to help in our small way."

Jackie Coe, Treasurer of CMT said, “Your donation will be a great help towards training and equipping our Team members to deal with the many and varied incidents we are requested to assist with. As Coniston Mountain Rescue Team is funded entirely by donations from the public and fundraising schemes, your support is greatly appreciated. “
