After a huge amount of in-depth technical work, Iosys are delighted to share the launch of a totally redesigned online entry system for EventEntry Ltd.

Sister company, EventEntry was created back in 2013 as a response to filling a much-needed void in the online entry arena. Systems at the time weren't mobile friendly, they were clunky, unreliable, full of unnecessary adverts or controlled by major corporations.

Craig Johnson, Managing Director commented, "EventEntry was created from scratch, by runners for sports events. We know what organisers want; we know how race directors think - because we do it ourselves. So, when you can't find something to do exactly what you want (such as software), then you build it yourself … at least, that's what we did! One size most certainly does not fit all, so why should a business muddle through with off-the-shelf, when bespoke fits perfectly.

The EventEntry system has been utilised by a wide range of independent sports event organisers, from fun-runs to charity events and ultra-marathon distance challenges. It was created to be totally integrated with a back-end organiser portal where Race Directors can gather entrant details seamlessly and in real-time.

The redevelopment work undertaken, completely redesigned the system, making improvements and enhancements in every aspect, incorporating new payment gateways and a natty new interactive event map feature.

Craig continued, "The first stage of redevelopment went exceptionally well, and we're thrilled within the results. The new look and simplified entry process have received praise from entrants and event organisers alike.

The second phase of development will begin in the Autumn, which will bring a whole host of new features to EventEntry, including an enhanced Organiser Portal, membership management and more".
